Growing up in Asia, mahjong has always been more than a game to us. It is a tradition that brings generations together through conversation, laughter and shared moments around the table.

When we discovered the vibrant American Mahjong community, we saw an opportunity to bring a different perspective to the game, one that respects mahjong's Chinese roots while opening the door to new worlds of creativity.

But storytelling for us goes beyond putting beautiful illustrations on tiles.

We look at the characters, objects, places, symbols and defining moments within each story, then thoughtfully reinterpret them through the language of mahjong, from Bams, Dots and Craks to Winds, Dragons, Flowers and Jokers.
