YOLO Mahjong is an independent mahjong lifestyle brand founded by a husband-and-wife team.

Growing up in Asia, mahjong has always been more than a game to us. It is a tradition that brings generations together through conversation, laughter and shared moments around the table.

When we discovered the vibrant American Mahjong community, we saw an opportunity to introduce a fresh design perspective, one that respects the Chinese roots of mahjong while reimagining the game for modern players.

We founded YOLO Mahjong to create thoughtfully designed American Mahjong sets that combine storytelling, contemporary artistry and meaningful details.

Some of our collections are inspired by Chinese culture, legends and visual traditions. Others draw from nature, travel, celebrations, art and stories from around the world. Every collection begins with a distinct idea and is created to bring a fresh personality and experience to the mahjong table.

We believe respecting mahjong’s heritage does not mean limiting its creative possibilities. It means understanding where the game came from while giving it room to evolve, inspire and connect with new generations of players.

As a husband-and-wife team, we are closely involved in every stage of the creative process—from developing each concept and refining the artwork to listening to the American Mahjong community and designing for the way they play.
